What is this?
This is the website for Jesse Hall’s solo project.

Everything on this page for now are just ideas, sketches and demos for my new album – my scratch pad.

Each of the 9 songs will have a piece of art work and a video.

What does it sound like?
It combines a lot of different sounds I love – Acid dub Disco-Punk,  Krout noise, Old time Rock and Roll, 12 tone soundtrack composition,  wrapped drum machines and synth damaged electronics. This new project is similar to my band XDS. Will be adding rotating sound making members for extra fun.

Tools I love
I built a custom a guitar-o-bass-synth (guitar with bass sting and bass pickup to bass amp) and guitar synth capabilities. The Drum machines can be controlled live via foot and warped with pedal effects. I also have a foot-scaper that can volume in soundscapes.

Live show?
I’ve performed some of these songs live – under various names: DRUM FUUK, Wild Plants, Cat Mummy UFO, !oVERBRo!. We have shows booked this year and more will come as the project takes shape.

Fun stuff you can have?
Coming soon..We are making mugs, prints, pins, mini woodblock prints, Hand-sewn magnets, t-shirts, small tables, etc. Everything is DIY, hand-made.

Why?
I draw inspiration from walks in the park, watch my son play Freedom Finger, or piano, hanging in my studio mangling cover songs.

Blog coming soon with my favorite bands of all time and tools I love for music making.

We all know how fucked up social media is. They control what users see – like 5% or less of your users see your stuff because of throttling – unless you pay. They use artist’s work to make money and push the boundaries of big brother values. I see a personal mailing list is a way to circumvent that and create a more direct connection with you. Please consider getting on my list.
